"You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, digging the Dancing Queen"
(Did I mention how much I love to watch karaoke)
How cute is this Rock Star Party! It's the perfect idea to celebrate your little Starlet!
Starting with the invitation - they were designed to look like Backstage VIP passes - too cute! Each child received their very own backstage VIP pass to the hottest party of the year - Who wouldn't want to attend this bash!
On the day of the party, Colleen (our chief creative) covered the front door with pink material and hung a backstage sign with an oversized gold star to welcome her little guests. This was the first thing the kids saw when they arrived to the party (which went with the backstage pass invites).
For this party, the stage was the centerpiece of the party and a black and white dance floor was set-up around the stage to offer optimal rocking out (dancing and singing of course). To outfit everyone in Rock Star Diva attire - feather boas and brightly colored beaded necklaces which were hung on a clear candelabra for the girls to wear. Oh and of course, the (temporary) tattoo parlor was open. You could even make your own bling bracelet. A barrel full of blow up guitars were provided for optimal rocking out. She
I want to go to this party! It looks like so much fun! Perfect too, I'm working on a birthday party roundup for early spring. I'll be linking.

The backstage passes were homemade and for the tickets you can go to www.ticketprinting.com to make your own custom tickets. The plastic sleeves and lanyards are available at any office supply store. Please feel free to email or call us if you have any addtional questions or need other suggestions.
