It's Friday and I don't know about you but my week has been way too long so I have decided to whip up something special for my guests this Friday evening...Pomegranate Sparkling Punch! I love refreshing punches like this one, made with tart-sweet pomegranate juice and finished with Prosecco. De-lic-ious!
Oh and if you are on the East coast enduring this horrible blizzard; turn up the heat and make a batch of these and imagine that you are some place warm (and hopefully soon). Happy Friday!!

On the heels of yesterday's most important blog I thought I would share this great site for all of you pet lovers. Introducing Social Couture's newest BFF, PupStyle! (PupStyle Doggie Party Coming Soon)
Pupstyle.com is a site devoted to dog luxuries, dog fashion and celebri-dog news and gossip. Founded as a labor of love by New York City’s husband and wife taste-maker team Dara Foster & Jonathan Spooner in 2003. The site is intended as a vehicle to set higher standards for dog fashion and luxury. If you’ve ever tried to search the internet with the three words “dog” “fashion” and “luxury” attached to each other, you know what turns up is anything but “honest” dog luxury. These days, every pink, overpriced, dog sweater made in China is marketed as “luxury” with little or no attention paid to real value or workmanship. PupStyle is here to help you sift through the trash and connect directly to “real” pet luxuries. Let's face it pets deserve to look good too! Your pets know when they look good!
I have to get on the soap box for this cause. It hurts my heart to think that someone would ever be cruel to a child or an animal. They are helpless and they trust us to take care of them so I am doing my part today with this blog by reaching out to all of you. I hope you will sign this petition today and pass it on to all of your friends.
Does an animal abuser live in your neighborhood?
Communities have good reason to be concerned about the whereabouts of animal abusers. In story after heartbreaking story, abusers repeat their violent crimes against helpless animals, and often go on to victimize people as well. Keep your animals and your families safe.
Sign on to demand that your state require animal abusers to register in their communities.
One of the easiest ways to flavor Vodka is to add your desired flavoring directly to the bottle then cap the bottle, and allow it to marinate in the freezer for a few days. The longer it marinates, the better the flavor.
Here are a few favorites:

Melon
Strawberries
Orange rind, 1/2 cup
Raspberries or blackberries - 1 cup

I just love these cheerful crafty little creatures. They are not only the perfect place card settings (they come with blank name cards) but they also make the most adorable decorations for Easter or a baby shower or kids party, or you can give them as gifts. They are downloadable paper toys by Mibo. The Wise Guys are chipper decorations for any time of the year. Just take a look at how easy they are to put together.
Today is Ash Wednesday and that means today is the first day of Lent which means Easter is only 40 days away (not including weekends) so I thought it would be a good time to share some fun Easter decor ideas with you.
Today is Fat Tuesday which kicks off Mardi Gras (and Lent) so here is great yummy recipe for Jambalaya to help kick-off the festivities. Break-out the beads and call a few friends. Wahoo!!
Are you dreading or looking forward to Valentine's Day?
I know it can be a cheesy little holiday, but when you think about it, why not have a day that celebrates romance? If anything, we need more of this in our lives.
Wherever you are in your personal journey; single, engaged, married or divorced, enjoy yourself this month. It's a time to treat yourself to something fabulous to get you in the spirit of giving and receiving. No man in your life? Buy yourself some gorgeous flowers and place them next to your nightstand. Roses preferred!! Go out for a gourmet meal or book a spa day. Get the picture? Surround yourself with people that are on your team. This means, people that adore you and think you are something special. Be kind to yourself. Make this the moment to forgive yourself for choices you've made and forgive anyone who you THINK has wronged you in any way.
