Make your own programs like the ones shown here by printing your initial logo on white card stock and tying them together with a simple orange ribbon

4th of July Favors

I saw these festive Fourth of July favors on Country Living and I think they are the perfect party favor for your guests. I love the vintage look especially when celebrating our country's birthday.

Guests will get a bang out of these "firecracker" favors, which can be filled with sparklers. Wrap paper towel tubes with crepe paper and printouts of Victorian postcards; add favor, then hot-glue a cardboard circle to the tube's bottom. Insert a pipe cleaner "wick"; tie off

T.G.I.F. Pomegranate Margarita

4th of July is just around the corner and if you are looking for something new and festive to serve up then mix up a batch of Pomegranate Margaritas!  The pomegranate is rumored to be the real fruit that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. Now it adds its irresistible touch to the traditional margarita. And, like all of Modmix's mixers, it's all organic. Just add your favorite tequila, and prepare to be shaken.

Here's how to do it:

Mix 2 parts Organic Modmix Pomegranate Cosmopolitan with 1-2 parts tequila. Shake over ice and strain into a martini glass or pour over ice in a margarita glass.

Fourth of July Patriotic Decorations

Two-tier dessert trays are a fast and easy way to embellish any holiday party. For the 4th of July, place cupcakes on the bottom tiers and novelty flags along with desserts on the top.

Create a patriotic wreath for your Independence Day celebration. To make this festive wreath wrap a plastic foam wreath with red ribbon, securing with crafts glue or pins if necessary. Insert mini flags around the wreath. Loop a piece of ribbon through the top of the wreath for hanging, and tie the ribbon ends in a bow. Using crafts glue, adhere a decorative-paper star to the ribbon hanger so it hangs in the center of the wreath. Ta da...super easy!

T.G.I.F. Strawberry Rose Gimlet

Ohhhh, summer is here and so are the sweet, juicy fruits that make some of the most refreshing cocktails.  Start your weekend with this summertime thirst quencher...The Strawberry Rose Gimlet!

To make stir up 3 to 4 fresh strawberries with 3/4 oz. Rosewater syrup and 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice. Add 2 oz. gin, shake with ice, and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with cut strawberries.

You can also make these virgin cocktails...they are just as refreshing and definitely fun to drink.
