I have always been a fan of plain white dishes; I believe your serveware should be like your wardrobe - start with your basics than add the elements you want to dress up your table for the season(s) - clear or white dinnerware are anything but boring when in the presence of autumn elegance. Leaves, gourds, and miniature pumpkins create a pretty fall tablescape - perfect for that big harvest party or dinner with friends.
